Bunny
Bunny ran her first tournament in August of 1997, as a member of Lickety Splits. Two years later, she was running as a start dog for SouthBark. As a member of SouthBark, she earned her 20,000 point Onyx award in June of 2002. In December of 2002, she became a member of INXS. On July 10, 2004, she earned her 30,000 point FGDCH award. Bunny has graciously given up her spot to allow the younger green dogs to run on teams. However, Bunny was part of NAFA history, running in the first Veterans Class race on October 10, 2005. At 11 years old, she continued to anchor some solid Veterans teams, along with teaching the young dogs the art of ‘passing’. The ‘greenies’ learned quickly that crossing over into Bunny’s lane was not a good idea.
Currently at 12 years, Bunny continues to supervise ball playing in the house by the other dogs. She does tolerate retirement from flyball, but I know she would still rather be racing!
